Galeb Bed and Breakfast is a welcoming, family-run retreat on the Dalmatian coast, where wide sea and mountain views, genuine hospitality and delicious local food come together into a stay that guests remember long after they leave. Balconies and terraces follow the changing light of the day, from quiet mornings over the water to long, golden sunsets.
The atmosphere here is relaxed, quiet and personal. The hosts welcome every guest with warmth and take real pride in making each stay comfortable, while the peaceful surroundings make Galeb an ideal place to slow down and escape the bustle of the larger coastal towns. Breakfast is freshly prepared and generously served, and in the evening guests can stay for dinner built around fresh fish, homegrown tomatoes, homemade olive oil and other traditional Dalmatian flavours.

All rooms are air conditioned and measure 20 m², with a private bathroom, shower, free toiletries, hairdryer, towels, linens and toilet paper, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, a work desk, an electric kettle, a wardrobe with clothes rack, a socket near the bed and hardwood or parquet floors. Free WiFi covers the whole property and free private parking is available on site without reservation. Guests can relax on the terrace, enjoy a drink at the bar and start every morning with a homemade breakfast. Galeb is a smoke-free property and the hosts speak Croatian, English and German.

Between the mountains and the sea
Galeb sits directly on the D8 coastal road above Baćina, on the southern edge of the Makarska Riviera, with the open Adriatic in front and the Biokovo foothills behind. The neighbourhood is quiet and easy to explore on foot, and the coastal road makes day trips in both directions simple.

Gornja Vala Beach is 1.2 km away, around a 14 minute walk. Podaca Beach is 4.5 km, FFK Beach 4.8 km, Biserka Beach 5 km and Mišina Beach 7 km. Local restaurants are close as well - Luna in Gradac at 4 km, Nicolo Polo at 4.1 km and Ruzmarin at 4.2 km.
Worth visiting
The Baćina Lakes and the Neretva delta near Ploče are an easy morning trip, the old town of Gradac and its coastal promenade are only a few kilometres away, and the Makarska Franciscan Monastery is about 43 km along the coast. Inland you can reach Kravica Waterfall in roughly 40 km and Križevac Hill in about 48 km, while Mostar and Dubrovnik both make comfortable day trips.
